ADHD, anxiety, trauma, depression, grief, behavior modification, and more

Scott is a Children's Mental Health Specialist and has worked with kids and teens throughout his career, including 15 years of public school teaching, 8 years as a Young Life area director, and 4 years working with children and families with Behavioral Health Resources and Catholic Community Services. Scott also served as the Behavioral Specialist for the Tumwater School District for 6 years.

Family and Parenting

Routine building, boundary setting, disciplinary techniques, behavior modification, and more

Scott has experience teaching group parenting classes as well as coaching parents on an individual level. He seeks to enhance what parents are already doing to raise well-adjusted children, and to introduce new skills to help parents manage the household. Learn structure, routine, anger-free discipline, and more vital skills to be the best parent you can be.

 

Marriage Counseling

Listening and communication skills, trust building, conflict resolution, and more

Scott is a facilitator for Prepare/Enrich marriage counseling and has counseled numerous couples in premarital counseling. He also helps couples whose marriages are struggling to renew, listen, rebuild trust, and forgive. Scott himself has been happily married for over 33 years.

Biblical Counseling

Life, marriage, parenting, and relationships through the lens of Biblical truth

Scott offers counseling from a Christian perspective for clients who request it.
